Description

The SlidePort is a highly popular rack suitable for van-based motorhomes due to its versatile design, making it compatible with motorhomes equipped with high chassis. If you’re comfortable unloading your two-wheelers whenever you need to access the back of the van, the SlidePort rack is an ideal choice.

On the other hand, the SlidePort platform rack smoothly slides to the side, even when fully loaded with up to 170 kg. This convenient feature provides easy access to the right rear door, making it hassle-free to reach the loading compartment, gas cylinders, or cassette toilet. However, the SlidePort offers even more.

To complement a top-notch rack, a sophisticated ramp is essential for loading. Our design engineers have devised a more functional solution for the SlidePort. This innovative design ensures the tidy storage of the ramp, allowing it to disappear into a convenient drawer when not in use.

SlidePort fitting Mercedes Benz Sprinter

Our popular SlidePort carrier is now also available for all Mercedes Sprinters built from 2006 onwards. The SlidePort can be easily pushed to the side while loaded with up to 170 kg and releases the right rear door. Both doors can be opened when the carrier is unloaded. A ramp for loading the carrier is included in the scope of delivery.

Please note:
Suitable for Sprinter Type 906 and Type 907 (Sprinter rear-wheel drive from 2006 to today). Carrier only fits if the equipment code of the exhaust system is KA3 (exhaust system is ending between front and rear axle and exhausting to the side). If the exhaust system is routed over the rear axle, exhausting at the back of the vehicle, the carrier cannot be installed.

With these equipment codes the carrier cannot be installed:
K60 exhaust system straight out to the rear
K63 exhaust system on the left behind the rear axle

Attachment to all Sprinter type 910 (Sprinter front-wheel drive from 06/2018)
Exception: Installation on vehicles with a towbar is NOT possible
